For more than two years this group of men have helped make me a morning person. Nearly every Tuesday morning before work we meet at @marinerschurch, get a lot of coffee, and dive into a devotional. I’m grateful for the examples they set, the wisdom they share, and what God is doing in each of their lives. This week they decided a breakfast-and-back-nine was the proper ‘pre-wedding bachelor party’ to have for the weekly meetup. What was already a great morning got topped off with a pretty remarkable moment as well. It involved a hole-in-one that none ...

In two weeks, it will mark two and half months of being engaged. It will also be our wedding day. Some might call it crazy, but I’d call it crazy to wait any longer. I can’t wait to marry you @ssarahbelle and start the next season of life together. God has great things in store and during a busy engagement I can’t help but reflect on a verse that you so amazingly live out, “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God”. ~ Psalm 20:7
Happy Father’s Day to @robackercbc, the best dad around. Thanks for teaching me the foundations of a great golf game, and great life. Cheers to playing golf in another country, many more rounds, and lots of birdies. 🏌🏻 ⛳️
Spent our final London morning hanging out with the Queen for her birthday (of course we planned that) and a special changing of the guard (from a very far and secure view outside of Buckingham palace). #londonbaby#oneweekagotoday
Ever since Kitchen Knightmare’s episodes in college I’ve wanted to eat a Gordon Ramsey beef wellington. Mission accomplished in London. Along with ongoing practice of imitating statues, being touristy, a bit bougie (you know the pic), and meeting up with your uncle in London for an awesome Duke’s cocktail (when you only live 30 miles from each other in SoCal) #oneweekagotoday#planestrainsandchampagne
From Hamilton to Hutong, London didn’t disappoint. It cured appetites for entertainment and empty stomachs looking for delicious food and fabulous views. There was also something ironic and albeit slightly satisfying watching the story of Hamilton while in London. #londonbaby#oneweekagotoday
One thing @ssarahbelle and I can always agree on is delicious local food. This plate of steak frites didn’t disappoint. We also learned I have a knack for impersonating statues. Scroll for your not-so-usual Louvre photos. #oneweekagotoday#planestrainsandchampagne
Along with plenty of cheesy jokes by me, my first date with @ssarahbelle also included two glasses of Taittinger champagne. So it was extra special to take a day trip to Reims to visit the champagne house, see the caves, find rainbow roads, and make it back in time for sunset views of the Eiffel Tower. #planestrainsandchampagne#oneweekagotoday
My best friend, a phone detox (minus the photos), and European countries is a recipe for more unforgettable adventures with @ssarahbelle. If John Oliver has ‘Last Week Tonight’, then this series would be ‘One Week Ago Today’. Nothing beats eating and drinking your way through a city. Despite not knowing any French, it felt good when we walked into a place and people spoke it to us, assuming we seemed French enough! #tutdelafruit#planestrainsandchampagne
The most important markers in life capture a reflection of the past with the excitement for what lies ahead. Having gone through it, I can’t imagine a greater marker than proposing: all the memories up until now combined with the anticipation of what comes next. Cheers to us and the future @ssarahbelle. I love you. 👫💍💑🍾🕺🏻💃🏻 📷: the bestest of friends and insanely awesome @opiewoohoo. Way to capture the live moments!
Everyday is a chance to be grateful for the love, fun, and adventure of @ssarahbelle. 👫

A new year often inspires hope of positive change and ambitious goals. Talking about resolutions is exciting, dreaming big is infectious, but in a day-in-age of social media sharing and idea overload, I wish everyone success in do-ing ideas and goals. Turning idea into action and taking the small steps to start, so you can finish something big #godo
