Do what you love. Love what you do. 👏 In the 1960s my dad earned his pilot's license but only flew for a year or two. Shortly after my mom passed away, and many years after retiring from the University of Wisconsin, my dad was looking for something new and different to occupy his time. He went to Morey Airplane Company at Middleton Municipal Airport and took the lessons he needed to renew his license. Since then he's been flying multiple times a week - including schlepping his daughter to many TRX courses around the country! He also began teaching ...
Had such a memorable experience being able to capture all the amazing things @madisonlymcrew does for all those around them. Truly such an experience to see the happiness in his smile as he got to go on his personalized helicopter ride!! 😱💥🥊🚁 #loveyourmelon#madison
Spent my morning flying to Middleton for a pancake breakfast and ended up running into one of my former AirAcademy campers, @liam_a315. It was a beautiful day and I'm glad we were able to fly together. #privatepilot#pancakebreakfast
Went on an incredible aerial acrobatic excursion in the sky today thanks to my talented pilot friend Bob Davis! Stay tuned for footage from the flight, featuring rolls, loops, a hammerhead(?), split S, Cuban Eight, and more (help me Bob?). 🛩️ Thanks for taking this photo just after we landed, @scottmarkus ! 😊 #pilot#fly
Congrats on 1000 hours of flying daddy. What a great celebration filled with friends, beer, cheese, cake and a repeating the phrase “do you want to touch my rocket?” an amazing number of times. Thank you daddy for teaching me to always reach for the stars; quite literally.
You guys!! The most AMAZING thing happened today!! @rkundy88 knew I've been pretty nervous about flying into the most dangerous airport in the world next week (Lukla), so he surprised me with a scenic flight around Madison in a 1929 biplane! He said "if you can handle this flight, you're ready to take on anything." I'm pretty sure this is the nicest, most incredible thing anyone has ever done for me. What a rush!! Also.....we made ourselves into a biplane 😂😂🛫 #biplane#airplane
