Take me back to the MAGIC ✨ The trail to Ouzel falls was magical, stunning & breathtaking. Passing through spectacular waterfalls, hiking along the river, and just enjoying all the beautiful nature around it. The trail felt magical, like being part of a once upon a time story.. I remember telling my husband “My Heart is Happy”. Which he responded with a smile “just take it all in & enjoy it”. Which I did! And right now just remembering the trail makes my Heart burst with happiness ✨ _ _ _ #lifeofyasi#takemebacktothemagic ...
Today I hiked to a waterfall. My brain was getting chatty with that negative self-doubt crap. Trying to mess with my mojo about upcoming projects. Trying to pull me into the mud!...I said, "No!" Then I heard a voice say, "Dont underestimate yourself. Even flowers can bloom in the desert." ❤❤❤Wow. Thank you. I'll take that! ❓❓ How do you shut down your negative chatter??
On our last full day, we hiked up to Copeland Falls in RMNP. It's quite a harrowing drive to get to the parking lot, but the hike up to the falls from there is relatively short (1.6 miles round trip). Totally worth it.
I eventually got some lens spots from the mist building up on my lens, but I decided to keep shooting because of how amazing the waterfall was! I'm glad I decided to take all these extra shots; lens spots and all. 📸
I used to hate hiking. I would much rather run the trail so I could travel further and see more; hiking felt like it limited me. Getting into photography and videography, however, has really helped me to slow down and actually appreciate the beauty of nature instead of just running past it all the time. I'm very grateful to have picked up a new hobby in these last couple years that has allowed me to slow down and enjoy the smaller details of life a little bit more 📸
