Can you believe it's been over a year since we released our album Reverie? Time flies, so we've decided to act. We're going to release a new track every month for the next year. Starting next month. RINGMORE RISE will get us going. A song about perusing your passion that Matthew wrote when walking on... Ringmore Rise. More soon. #kentdowns#foresthill
You will never know what lays under the surface unless you wade in. Be brave and always ask questions. Life is so beautiful and sometimes so mysterious. Do not assume something untill you truly know the answer. Investigate the possibilities, consider the potential, survey the risk. Never shut your eyes.
Kent Downs area of outstanding beauty nature park. From Canterbury down to Folkestone via the rural English countryside, all shades of luscious green, rolling hills and cute cottages. Exactly like in the movies! #kent#kentdownsaonb
Some behind the scenes images today - this is a quick SketchUP model of an existing dwelling we have just started design work on. It will be used to explore massing ideas, materiality and ulitimately produce images for the required design and access statement - not to mention it's use in communicating the design with the client. Have a lovely weekend all! BP . #architecture#architect
I'd love to hear your suggestions for recipes with wild garlic. I was lucky to discover and scoop up some reserves this weekend in Kent's AONB. Nothing beats a bit a bit of foraging. Feeling like you can be nourished on what the earth provides right there in front of you. It feels fortuitious and special. Knowing that the season will end and you have to wait another year. It's like a healthy smug feeling all in one. I usually make pesto, or a blitzed simple dressing. Last night i was lazy and just shredded it and popped it in ...
Rural meanders all along the twisty turny roads of the Kent Downs to cap off a day of fish and chips and sea dips in Whitstable. Super sunny Sunday with my favourite riding pal ☺️🏍 . . . #kent#bikelife
I love a fallen down tree. It makes me shudder when people feel the need to saw our laying giants down into organized piles in order to make things tidy-as if nature would ever desire to behold the concept of tidy. It offers shelter and shade for animals big and small. It brings joy to young and sometimes old if they can remember the simple pleasures of clambering among branches and over the handy textured skin of a being that wears it's years of weathering proudly. And for me a tree too tired to stand up right offers the most ...
I met some friends whilst walking through the Kent Downs on the bank holiday. Did you know that cows have the ability to detect the earths magnetic fields, similar to birds. Next time you see a herd check which direction they’re facing - it tends to be towards the poles. #cow#cows
2 days Bronze DofE Training in another new area for me and a new company Adventure Training and Adventure. Had every weather possible, hail, freezing winds and bright sun! Great groups, good luck in your qualifiers next month
Pushing the limits of were tracks bikes can go. Followed a questionable but amazing route that I made on @gaiagps. Had some gravel riding sections, cliff top riding and at one point ended up in someone’s house. Absolutely sweet weather for it. Riding Dunkirk to Brugge today. 🚲🙌

On this #worldbookday we’re celebrating @lostwordskent’s incredible achievement of crowdfunding enough money to afford every primary school in Kent a copy of Lost Words by bestselling author @robgmacfarlane & acclaimed artist @jackiemorrisartist. Lost Words is full of intricate illustrations and wonderful wordcraft which will inspire children all across Kent to explore nature and reconnect with language that’s at risk of being truly lost, thanks to the @lostwordskent team. Happy World Book Day 📚 #kentdownsaonb
Day 45 Thursday 14th February 2019 Today we we're driving to meet up with some fellow Dargavillians all the way on this side of the world, and we decided to take the road less travelled :) Me and Anna also went out to a lovely Vantines Day dinner in Elham :) So all and all a pretty beautiful day :)
Thinking back to warmer climes on the Kent Downs nr Godmersham. I usually hope for an added extra in shots like this; a tractor, a cyclist, dog walker etc. Somehow all three managed to come along and be captured in the one shot..!? Bizarre. #kentdownsaonb#kent
