My dad and Dottie played an arcade racing game against me and Olive last night. It was fierce competition mostly between Olive and me as she smacked my hand every time she saw it was on the wheel. Apparently, I was supposed to push the pedals only.

Spent a lot of time gathering the supplies for a FORCE AWAKENS interactive movie program and no one showed up. *sigh*

This month’s @dcbservice shipment was exactly two things. However, I supplemented it with @calamity_jon’s latest, which I got elsewhere. Aw yeah, Spider-Ham!

Just a reminder that POWERLESS was just about the perfect show for me. It was funny, featured Ron Funches, referenced DC Comics stuff, and, in one episode, had Alan Tudyk get into a Robin costume that was only one shade better than one you'd find at Walmart. Of course, it lasted a single shortened season and didn't even air all of its 12 episodes. #powerless#alantudyk

So, I'm watching SUPERMAN / BATMAN: PUBLIC ENEMIES, which is a cartoon based on a comic book arc. In it, Lex Luthor is the president of the United States and he eventually climbs into a suit to fist fight Superman. As you do. Anyway, at the end of the fight, Superman picks up Luthor and says to him, "Consider yourself..." Superman then punches Lex through a building. "...Impeached." Then, he poses like that's a cool line or something. Do... do you think Superman thinks that's what impeachment is? Punching the president through a wall? Maybe that's how they did ...

There's a showing of KIKI'S DELIVERY SERVICE at our local theater in late-July. It'd be $25 for Eldest and I to go, which is a tad more than I'd like to spend. It's a really nice film and it would be Eldest's first time seeing a movie in the theater. It just really bums me out that there are no Studio Ghibli films that can be bought and watched digitally through legal means in the United States. I'd, of course, rather spend $20 to own it digitally so we could watch it again and again. Plus, the popcorn would be ...
Eldest assembled all my heroes onto one shelf. So, who got the shaft more: John Stewart (whose head is barely visible), Namor (whose left pec and arm are visible), or Kyle Rayner (left off the hero shelf all together)? Captain Universe Spider-Man, Darkhawk, and C-3PO (three childhood favorites) watched the shenanigans from a high shelf. #batgirl#robin
