When I was little my mom would always take pictures of me with rolls and rolls of film and as I got a little older, I became really interested in photography. I took multiply classes in school and loved every second of it! But once I got out of grade school I thought, I could never make a career out of photography. So I went into the medical field and got my EMT license and worked at a hospital for two years. It was such a cool experience but I decided it was not for me and I decided why ...
There’s Go͏l͏d, and it’s haunting and haunting; its luring me on as of old; yet it isn’t the gold I’m wanting, so much as just finding the gold. It’s the great, big, broad land way up yonder. It’s the forests where silence has lease. It’s the beauty that thrills me with wonder. It’s the stillness that fills me with peace. -Robert W. Service- #alexlaguardiaphotography#explorecolorado
I saw this building off to the side while driving down a road in Cripple Creek. I originally wasn’t going to make the trek down to it but decided that I had the time, so why the hell not! I am so glad I did because this building was so incredible and this turned out to be one of my favorite pictures from this trip. #alexlaguardiaphotography#explorecolorado
I know I personally get so focused on what’s in front of me when I’m taking pictures that I never turn around to see what’s behind me. While watching this sunset, I decided to glance behind me and it turned out to be just as incredible as the view in front of me! #alexlaguardiaphotography#explorecolorado
Came across this while exploring Victor and I fell in love. There were a few train cars scattered throughout the field with no sign of tracks. I wanted to go explore them so bad but they were on private property. #alexlaguardiaphotography#explorecolorado
I have always said that I’ve wanted to find a pair of elk or moose antlers and that my luck just sucks and never have found anything really cool like that. BUT on our trip to Silverton we found a moose skull in our camp site!!! I freaked out so much from being so excited! #alexlaguardiaphotography#mooseskull
