Today on The Local Project, we explore @capa_studio Architects’ RBZ Home that takes its cues from its native wetland environment, and slowly will return to nature with an adornment of plants growing from the front terrace and bridge over the internal courtyard. 🌿 Draping over the hardy concrete blocks, the plants will slowly take over and help this eco-home become a natural retreat from its suburban surroundings. Two robust and gently curving masonry structures occupy the ground plane, bridged together by a minimal first floor volume. This approach was adopted to free up the ground plane and to pay tribute to the established and emerging. ...
